At Harness Change, riding is about more than just learning techniques, it’s about developing a true partnership with the horse.

We are an equine-led learning centre, meaning our lessons focus on how horses respond to balance, clarity, and confidence. By learning to understand this feedback, riders naturally improve their position, feel and communication which creates calmer, more confident riding.

What makes us different is our focus on the whole rider. Rather than shortcuts or “one-horse riding,” we help riders learn why things work, so they can adapt, progress, and enjoy their riding more. With an emphasis on balance, communication and adaptability, our lessons build confidence alongside technical skill.

At Harness Change you will find high standards of horse care and rider safety and be supported by experienced coaches who will teach you at your own pace. We welcome complete beginners right through to experienced riders, supporting not just riding ability but the overall development of the rider, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
